Your guide to June’s biggest games

It’s early June, which means it’s video game season again. Now E3 is gone several yearsA series of shows and exhibitions have begun to fill the void, including large productions such as Summer Game Fest Live and smaller events such as Wholesome Games Direct.

If you like to follow sports news, it’s a great time of year. There will be a lot to take in that will set the stage for the rest of the year’s games. But without a big convention like E3 in between, it can be difficult to keep track of the various events that will take place over the next few days.

We have compiled a list of the biggest events that we will have our eyes on and when you can watch them. We’ll be showing all season announcements for summer sports, so stay tuned Seaside is our dedicated site for great news. PlayStation State of Play, 5PM ET

The next Sony State of Play show it starts on June 2nd at 5PM ET, and it could be big. The company promises that the show will feature “more than 60 minutes of updates, announcements, and demos from the world’s top studios.” Sony also says that the show will begin with a “closer look” at Marvel’s WolverineThe next big title from Insomniac Games, which is yet to be launched on September 15.

Summer Game Fest Live, 5PM ET

Geoff Keighley’s summer show returns on June 5 at 5PM ET. Keighley didn’t joke about which game would appear – he often does that on X in preparation for the event. But last year’s show that was shown shows big games like Requiem Evil Requiem and small like Mixtapeso it’s likely that we’ll see a few more big announcements along with some great looking indie titles.

Devs Day: The Summer Game Show, 7PM ET

After Summer Game Fest Live, catch Devs Day: Summer Game Fest Digital Showcase, which is set to begin on June 5th at 7PM ET. On Bluesky, Devs Day he said that the show will include 20 games and 10 original shows.

Sponsors of the event include Annapurna Interactive, Devolver Digital, Panic, PlayStation, Xbox, and even Studio MDHR (the team behind Cuphead) – if the publisher is announcing a game at the show, it could mean there’s good news left.

Devs Day: The Summer Game Fest Digital presentation will be broadcast on The Game Awards YouTube channel.

Wholesome Direct, 12PM ET

The Wholesome Direct is an exhibition dedicated to “inspiring and entertaining games,” with sponsors like Annapurna Interactive, Devolver Digital, Netflix, and Playstack. You can find out on YouTube.

The next game is the Summer Show, 3PM ET

The two-hour show will feature new footage, “exclusive” footage, and “extra coverage” of ExodusA sci-fi RPG developed by Archetype Entertainment, a studio founded by former BioWare developers, and published by Wizards of the Coast. Look show on YouTube.

Xbox Games + Weapons Show: E-Day Direct, 1PM ET

This year’s big Xbox show, the first with new Xbox boss Asha Sharma at the helm, is happening on June 7 at 1PM ET. It can be a great show; In addition to being Sharma’s first major role since taking over, Microsoft will likely share updates on the game as well Halo: The Campaign Has Changed and Minecraft Dungeons II. The company has already said that it will show more about legend, what that it has just been delayed (again) to February 2027. And after the show, Microsoft will also host a dedicated event Weapons: E-Daywhich is the first new entry since 2019 5 gears.
