HHere’s the sequel to the Amazon Prime hit My Fault: London. If you’re new to the back story of the franchise, it started with a love trilogy written by Spanish author Mercedes Ron (who self-published the first one). It’s a tale of forbidden love between Noah’s siblings and his evil smoking brother Nick. Books have been changed to three Spanish-language filmsthe second is reproduced here without any interest or humor. A number of good-looking actors give dry, dramatic, stage-stealing performances in a series of commercials promoting a five-star holiday.
It follows from the previous movie, with Noah (Asha Banks) and Nick (Matthew Broome) now in a serious relationship. Nick insists on keeping the secret from their newlywed parents; she’s worried about what her billionaire father (Ray Fearon) will say when he finds out. Noah reluctantly agrees, and leaves home to study at Oxford, where he meets a nice, smart second-year student Michael (Joel Nankervis). “We’re just friends,” Noah says. Nick has left the illegal competition and is working for his father, along with Sophia (Louisa Binder) who is a posh blonde tech entrepreneur. “Just my friends,” Nick insists.
We’re here for sex and money, but Your Case: London fails to deliver on both sides. The champagne life of its rich people is included in Lidl’s cava budget. So, when billionaire son Nick is partying in his hotel room after closing a multi-million pound deal, it looks like he’s staying at the Best Western. Sex is also degrading. Nick and Noah’s passion must be for generations; they can’t keep their hands off each other. But sex games are softcore-lite, they avoid body parts, if written and filmed by people who don’t know who they are.
