Young Xteink readers get 20 percent off on Prime Day

The Xteink X4 and small X3 e-readers are off $55.20 (regularly $69) and $63.20 (regularly $79), respectively, as part of Amazon Prime Day Deals this week. Both e-readers are smaller and more pocketable than any other Kindle and Kobo models available, and feature magnetic mounts so they can sit on the back of MagSafe-compatible smartphones. The integrated software is a little rough around the edges, but the models that Amazon sells can be easily adapted to Free CrossPoint Reader firmware with a highly polished appearance.

In ours meet X4We liked that the e-reader has several buttons that are used to turn the pages of the ebook, but it struggles with running its programs that are sometimes difficult to use buttons instead of a screen. Battery life is excellent, and the e-reader offers several options for reading books and other documents, but be aware that you won’t find dedicated online bookstores like Kindles and Kobos.

The X3 function it’s similar to the X4, but with a smaller design, better button design, and greater compatibility with smaller phones with magnetic mounts on the back. It’s easy to hide in a small pocket, but the X3’s reliance on a magnetic USB cable can be confusing for those who tend to lose cables.
