RB Leipzig have rejected an £85.4m bid from Real Madrid for Yann Diomond, according to Sky Germany.
The offer was for an initial fee of £76.9m and £8.5m in add-ons
Madrid have been active this window after Jose Mourinho returned to the club after moving away Bernardo Silva, Ibrahima Konate, Denzel Dumfries and Mark Cucurella.
Liverpool have also expressed an interest in Diomande but are unwilling to pay more than £85m.
The fee Liverpool are prepared to pay at this stage would dwarf the Premier League record transfer for a teenager, with Manchester United agreeing to sign Lille for £58.9m in the summer of 2024.
However, PSG are the move that Diomonde wants, with no official bid from them yet – although PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi has held talks with the German club.
Diomande has already agreed a contract with the Champions League winners until 2031, but Leipzig will only sell for an exceptional fee.

“Everything happened quickly,” said Ian Diomonde. Indeed, it’s remarkable now to think that Diomonde’s entire senior career last year came with half a dozen starts for Leganes at the end of last season as they were relegated from La Liga.
