Yamal comments on the clash between Ronaldo and his childhood dream

The star of the Spanish national team, Lamine Yamal, said that he hopes to achieve his dream of winning the World Cup title with El Matador.

Spain reached their eighth World Cup final after an easy 3-0 win over Austria, before setting up a fiery match against Portugal in the Round of 16.

Yamal added in a statement published by the DAZN Football network on the “X” website. “There’s nothing better than the World Cup and when any kid dreams of playing football, he dreams of playing for his country and in the World Cup, and now I’m here.”

He continued: “I am thinking about continuing to qualify for the next round and achieving my dream of winning the World Cup with Spain.

He emphasized. “I’m fine, I’m fully recovered and I’m 100 percent ready. I am ready to play whenever the coach needs me. Of course, I need to continue to rest and take care of myself, but I am fully prepared.”

He added: “Do you want to play against Cristiano, of course it would be nice for me to play against Ronaldo, but all I think about is winning.”
