Xbox owners can now disable Quick Restart for some games

Microsoft has released new updates for Xbox which adds a lot of new features, including the ability to disable Quick Restart in a single game.

Quick Resume, which allows you to switch between your games without waiting a short time, is one of the best features of the Xbox Series X / S consoles. But it can also experience unexpected problems with multiplayer games or titles that require a stable internet connection. “We’ve heard your comments about long idle sessions or games that rely heavily on an Internet connection,” says Microsoft.

With Thursday’s update, Microsoft also lets you create ten categories on your Home screen (instead of just two), set custom colors in the UI, and easily view your game history. On the PC side, you can use your gamepad as a mouse and pin up to three games in the “Jump back in” and “Recent” lists. Microsoft too start testing its DLSS competitor, Auto SR, on the Xbox Ally X handheld.
