X claims that top accounts steal videos from other users while announcing new video tools

Nikita Bier, X’s chief marketing officer, said post Monday that “(m)any videos on top accounts are stolen from other users, sometimes 5 years after they go viral,” noting that videos on the platform “make up about half of the views on X.” According to Bier, X causes a new in-app video editor and a recorder to deal with these “recycled”, that “some videos on X can be real that do not exist on other platforms.”
