The 2026 World Cup was supposed to mark Ibrahima Konate’s first appearance in front of Real Madrid fans after joining the club until 2030.

But the reporter is in“Sports” Catalonia’s Alex Calaf believes the tournament has had the opposite effect, comparing Konate’s situation to Portugal’s Bernardo Silva, who in turn joined Real Madrid this summer but played a secondary role with his country’s national team under Roberto Martinez.
