Defending champion Luke Leiter cruised into the World Matchplay final with a 17-5 win over unseeded Dirk van Duijvenbode in Blackpool.
The world number one went 8-2, averaging 117.10 and beating Phil Taylor’s season average of 114.99.
As Littler focused and finished with a 111-under average, his rating dipped slightly.
However, that took Taylor’s tournament average of 106.31, while Littler now stands at 110.88.
The teenager’s victory has now raised more than £3m in the PDC ranking and is more than £2m ahead of world No.2 Luke Humphries.
Littler beat Dutchman Gian van Veen 17-10 and will face Gerwin Price of Wales in Sunday’s final.
Sunday’s final will take place at 20:05 BST, with the women’s world match taking place from 13:00 in the afternoon – Beau Graves and reigning champion Lisa Ashton are the two top seeds.
