Tuchel’s willingness to let Kane move freely adds an intriguing layer to the German’s strategy, just as it does for Bayern Munich.

Kane clearly has a natural knowledge of the game described by former England striker Chris Sutton as “uncoachable” – not only does he create, but he still comes up with perfect timing in an attacking position.

Kane’s passing ability and vision allowed him to find runners like Gordon or Saca, as well as Bellingham and Rodgers, as their trademarks increased.

Tuchel and England could be given the X-factor if they go deep into the World Cup and face superior opposition.

It’s no wonder Tuchel is reluctant to release Kane, even for a friendly, so central is he in his plans.
