15. Pauline Barratt (France)
Barratt was one of several players previously in the France squad and based on his performances, he is here to stay.
The 21-year-old was electric on the ball, finishing in the top five for carries (63, 5th), meters gained (523, 2nd), defenders beaten (23, joint 2nd) and line breaks (eight, joint 5th). His link play really set him apart, as he assisted 12 line breaks – the only player to hit double figures – and recorded four try assists.
14. Anais Grandeau (France)
Another debutant from France, Grando had a great campaign and beat Ireland’s Babein Parsons to the number 14 shirt.
Grando finished as Les Bleus’ top try-scorers (five) with only Marley Packer (seven) and Amy Cockayne (six) crossing the line more times. He has made the most offloads (six) of any France player, while only Eli Kildune has made more line breaks (14).
13. Meg Jones (England)
Jones has taken over as England captain for this year’s Six Nations and has led by example.
He is the only England player to have played every minute and was the leading center for try involvement (seven – three tries, four assists), carries (56), meters gained (285), defenders beaten (21), line breaks (nine) and line break assists (nine).
12. Courtney Keith (Wales)
Wales’ campaign turned into a disappointing wooden spoon for the third consecutive year, but there were some bright spots, not least the form of Keight who provided some much-needed forwardness in midfield.
The Sale Sharks player gained 131 metres-in-contact, the most of any back, and also provided plenty of bite in defence, with no back bettering his tally of five impressive tackles.
