Nelly Korda is six shots behind leader Ina Yun as she chases her third major at the midway point of the Women’s PGA Championship.

World number one Korda won Chevron Championship And US Open This year already.

The 27-year-old is back in contention after shooting a four-under 68 at Hazeltine, making birdies on four of the front nine before finishing with six consecutive pars.

Korda said South Korean Yun – who has yet to win a major but has a five-shot lead at the halfway point – will start to feel the pressure.

“It’s hard to get a big lead at the weekend,” said the American

“I was at Chevron and you feel a little more pressure, like everyone is hounding you.

“I’m just going to focus, as annoying as it is, one shot at a time and see where it takes me.”

England’s Charlie Hull – second to Corder at the US Open earlier this month – missed the cut at two over par after a 73.

Yoon, Who had nine under par After a spectacular opening round, backed up with a 69 to get to 12 under.

“The remaining two days will definitely be nerve-racking, but it’s human nature to be nervous, and I think I want to embrace that and focus on what I can do on my shots,” he said.
