Wimbledon 2026 results: Henry Patten and Harry Heliovara maintain title bid by reaching quarter-finals


Britain’s Henry Patten and Finnish teammate Harry Heliovara maintained their bid to regain the Wimbledon men’s doubles title by reaching the quarter-finals with a hard-fought comeback win.

World number one Patten and Heliovara, champions at the All England Club in 2024, beat Czech pair Adam Pavlacek and Patrik Rickel 5-7 6-3 7-6 (10-6).

The 2025 Australian Open winners, who have won a combined 12 titles since joining forces in 2024, will face Argentina’s Guido Andreozzi and Frenchman Manuel Guinard for the semi-finals.

The other half of the draw still consists of Britain’s defending champions Julian Cash and Lloyd Glasspool and American Christian Harrison’s partner Neil Skupsky.

Skupski also reached the mixed doubles third round with American Desiree Krawczyk after a 7-6 (7-5) 4-6 6-3 win over Portuguese Francisco Cabral and Australian Ellen Perez.

Jo Salisbury and Lelah Fernandez of Canada also advanced with a 6-4 4-6 6-2 win over British pair Ben Jones and Maia Lumsden.

But Glasspool and Slovakia’s Tereza Mihalikova lost 6-3 7-6 (7-3) to Edouard Roger-Vasselin of France and Laura Sigmund of Germany.

Marcus Willis and Heather Watson also beat Harrison and China’s Zhang Shuai 6-2 7-6 (7-4).
