France head coach Didier Deschamps has spoken about Rooster star Michael Olisse’s future with Bayern Munich, given the strong interest from several clubs in signing him.
Olisse’s record is more than impressive, with 42 goals and 54 assists in 107 official matches for Bayern Munich. Michael Ollis (24) rose to stardom in Munich and is now a mainstay in France’s World Cup squad.
His market value is €150m and rising, and when he joined Bayern Munich from Crystal Palace two years ago, he was worth just €55m.
And he said Deschamps (57 years old), coach of the French national team, in an interview with “Sport Bild” and “Sport Bild” newspapers.Bild:“Michael Ollis has made amazing progress. In the beginning, everything was a bit difficult and complicated with us in the French team. But with persistence and support, he improved.”
It is clear that the biggest European clubs have a great desire to include Olisse, but the management of “Bayern Munich” does not even think about selling him, especially since the forward’s contract is extended until 2029.
Deschamps understands Bayern’s position as he believes his rising star is in safe hands with the reigning champions.
“Coach Vincent Kompany played a big role in Michael’s amazing rise. He had an exceptional season under his leadership, marked by efficiency and a strong personality. He will continue to shine if he stays at Bayern Munich.
He continued. “Today, Michael is considered one of the best players in the world, but the media spotlight does not suit him. What is important for him is the field where he wants to spend his life.”
