When are Premier League: 2026-27 fixtures published?

The Premier League fixtures for the 2026–27 season will be published on Friday at 10:00 BST.

Fixture announcements come an hour later than in previous years.

World Cup 2026 results in both the start and end dates of the 2026-27 season being later than usual.

The new campaign will begin on Saturday, August 22, 2026 – 34 days after the World Cup final in the United States.

The Premier League season ends on Sunday, May 30, 2027, with the Champions League final six days later.

Next term there will be 33 rounds of weekend fixtures, with the remaining five taking place in midweek.

The Premier League said next season’s schedule would be designed to “avoid domestic competitions clashing with UEFA competition dates wherever possible”.

During the Christmas and New Year period, no two rounds of matches will be played within 60 hours of each other, in line with a commitment to clubs to deal with congested schedules during that period.
