What the members of the royal family did in New York on their third day in America

The King and Queen spent a full day in New York City on the last day of their tour of the United States.

The couple opened the day at the 9/11 memorial downtown, then parted ways in the afternoon: Queen Camilla read ‘Winnie the Pooh’ to children at the New York Public Library to promote literacy, while King Charles visited a community organization in Harlem and fed chickens.

The King and Queen ended their tour with a celebration of 50 years of the King’s Trust charity at Rockefeller Center where international ambassador Lionel Richie spoke.
