When Mali’s military took power five years ago, it promised stability. But that promise was not fulfilled.

At the end of the week, terrorists and armed groups carried out joint attacks in the north and center of the country.

Mali has been struggling to maintain its armed forces for more than a decade.
After ordering the French troops to withdraw, the soldiers asked for help from Russia.

But it seems that things have changed a bit.

Instead, Mali continues to expand and the military is losing ground to rebels and militias.

So what are the consequences of violence?
