Foreign workers in South Africa are also facing violence and demonstrations by anti-immigrant groups. They are accusing them of living and working in the country illegally and they will leave on June 30.

South Africa has seen a spate of anti-immigrant violence in the past decade – often directed at other Africans.

Since the end of apartheid in 1994, the country has become a destination for thousands of workers from neighboring countries. But many people in South Africa say that the government is not following the immigration laws.

So does South Africa still need foreign workers?
