WATCH: Football fans in Gaza watch the World Cup from the rubble

Hundreds of soccer fans in parts of Gaza watched Tuesday’s World Cup match between Argentina and Egypt from among the rubble of buildings.

Many waved flags for Egypt, which shares a border with the war-torn state and is one of the mediators in the ceasefire talks between Hamas and Israel.

Argentina won the match 3-2 and advanced to the quarter-finals.
