Video technology deprived the Egyptian national team of a goal on Tuesday night in the final match of the 2026 World Cup against Argentina.
In the 58th minute, Mostafa Zico scored a great goal against Egypt from a special rebound. This was Egypt’s second goal after Yasser Ibrahim’s goal in the first half.
But the video technology called on French referee Francois Lettxer to watch the game and disallow the goal for a foul on Egypt’s Marwan Attia early in the attack.
