“Gloucester-Hartpury has been an important part of my rugby journey for the past seven years and a real holm,” said Jones, who won 57 caps at Hooker.
“I’ve experienced some of my highest highs and lowest lows here, and there’s no other team I’d rather have by my side through it all.
“Together, we’ve shared incredible moments, won titles, made lifelong memories and built friendships that will last forever. It’s been a privilege to share and share a pitch with so many amazing people over the years.
“While this marks the end of an era, I will always be proud to wear the Cherry and White shirt and play a small part in the legacy we have created for the next generation of girls.”
Wales back Sari Lewis says it is “incredibly difficult” to leave Gloucester-Hartpury for the club he has played for such a large part of his life on and off the field.
“I spent the best years of my rugby journey here, surrounded by great team mates, coaches and staff who pushed me to become a better player and person every day,” said the 65 capped international.
“Playing a small part in the success we achieved together is something I will always be proud of, moments I will cherish forever.
“Gloucester-Hartpury will always hold a special place in my heart. It’s time for me to leave the circus and take on a new challenge.”
Discussing Lewis’ capture, Bears head coach Scott Lawson said: “Bethan has been a consistent performer at both club and international level and his experience, leadership and competitiveness will be hugely valuable to our squad.”
