Violent French invasion. Paris set up Premier League war for £115m deal

European champions Paris Saint-Germain are set to enter a fierce battle in the summer transfer market to land Aston Villa star Morgan Rodgers in a deal worth up to €115m amid stiff competition from Arsenal, Manchester United and Chelsea.

The British newspaper “The Sun” reported that the champions of France and Europe are showing great interest in the 23-year-old attacking midfielder, who spent an exceptional season in the “villains” team, scoring 14 goals and 12 assists in 55 games.

An exceptional season

Born in 2002, Rodgers was a major contributor to Aston Villa’s Europa League title this season with a remarkable performance that caught the attention of Europe’s biggest clubs.

The English international player, who will participate in the 2026 World Cup, stands out in his many positions, as he plays well in the position of attacking midfielder and winger, which gives him additional value in the transfer market.

Adult struggle

Paris Saint-Germain are competing with Champions League runners-up Arsenal for the player, while Manchester United and Chelsea are also keen on the England star, in a deal that is set to be one of the most high-profile deals of the summer.

Fantastic price!

While Rodgers’ market value is estimated at 90 million euros on the Transfer Market website, Aston Villa hopes to recover 115 million euros, reports British newspaper The Telegraph.

Rodgers’ contract with “Aston Villa” is extended until June 2031, which gives the English club great negotiating power in negotiations.
