Brazil star Vinicius Junior has hailed the strength of Morocco’s national team ahead of the upcoming clash between the Atlas Lions and Seleção at the 2026 World Cup tomorrow, Saturday (US EST).
Vinicius said during the introductory press conference of the meeting. “The Moroccan national team has every right to be called the Brazil of Africa.”

The star of “Real Madrid” continued. “The Moroccan national team has developed a lot in the world of football and everyone knows its strength… especially since it has outstanding players like Brahim Diaz and Ashraf Hakimi. We are also ready for this match and we know very well what awaits us.”
Vinicius said about his future with Merengue and the possibility of extending his contract with the Spanish club. “Right now I’m focused on Brazil… I’ll talk about Real Madrid when the World Cup is over and the next season starts.”
In the first round of Group C, Brazil will play Morocco, which also includes Haiti and Scotland.
