Video: Turkish seller promises to give away half a ton of watermelon to complete Salah’s deal

The Turkish seller has pledged to distribute 500 kilograms of watermelons for free if the Egyptian player Mohamed Salah joins the ranks of Besiktas.

Reports are mounting that the Egyptian pharaoh has been linked with a move to the Turkish league following his move from Liverpool this summer.

The Al Jazeera account, which specializes in Turkish news, posted a video on Instagram showing a Turkish fruit vendor promising to give away half a ton of watermelon if Mohamed Salah joined Besiktas.

I reported at the same time NTVspor network The Turkish newspaper reports that the crisis over Salah’s move to Besiktas is close to being resolved, after the club reached an agreement with the player, while his agent’s commission is the final hurdle to completing the deal.

Reports suggested that the club’s management, led by Serdal Adali, continued to negotiate with Salah’s agent Rami Abbas in a calm and strategic manner despite his high financial demands.

He added that Rami Abbas asked for a commission of 35 percent, but he gradually began to reduce his demands, which brought the contracts closer to the final signing stage.

Reports have confirmed that Besiktas are close to officially announcing the Salah deal as soon as the final details are agreed with the player’s agent.
