Video: the Spanish used it against Egypt.. Argentina fans spoil England’s anthem with racist chants.

The second semi-final match of the World Cup ended early

Argentina fans rioted early in England’s 2026 World Cup match, particularly during the national anthem, over a chant that was classified as a racist chant.

Today, Wednesday, the Argentine national team met its English partner in the semi-finals of the 2026 World Cup between America, Canada and Mexico at the “Atlanta” stadium.

Saudi journalist Nawaf Al-Aqeel published a video from his personal page of the “X” website, in which it can be seen how Argentine fans are cheering during the playing of England’s national anthem.

The Argentine fans chanted. “He who doesn’t jump is English”, was taken from a chant chanted by Spanish fans during a friendly against Egypt in March last year, where they chanted:

The chant caused a lot of controversy at the time, and even Spain star Lamine Yamal issued a statement condemning the chants.

It is noteworthy that the relationship between Argentina and England is characterized by historical hostility due to the 1982 war in the Falkland Islands, so much so that FIFA prevents the referees of the two countries from officiating matches for each other.
