“Real Betis” lost two valuable points in the 35th round of La Liga with a draw (2-2) against the hosts “Real Sociedad”.
Although “Real Betis” led the home team with two unanswered goals, the hosts turned the tables and managed to grab the equalizer in the last hour.
Real Betis took the lead with Anthony’s goal in the 39th minute, before Moroccan footballer Abdel Samad Zalzouli managed to score the visitors’ second goal in the 47th minute.
But Real Sociedad did not give up and reduced the deficit in the 79th minute through Uri Oscarson.
“Sociedad” received a penalty kick, which Mikel Oyarzabal successfully executed in the minute (90+1).
Real Betis’ score rose to fifth place with 54 points, while Real Sociedad rose to eighth place with 44 points.
Abdel Samad Zalzouli had a goal and an assist in Real Betis’ 3-0 win over Real Oviedo in the last round of La Liga.
Al-Zalzouli also won Real Betis’ Player of the Month for April after scoring two goals and providing two assists in four La Liga games last month.
In total, Zalzuli has participated in 40 matches in all competitions for Real Betis this season, scoring 14 goals and providing 13 assists.
