Can the green take down the matador?
The legend of the Iraqi national team, Nashat Akram, warned Saudi Arabia against the confrontation with Spain, because he believes that the latter will not be satisfied with the match and will play with all their strength to achieve victory.
The Saudi Arabian national team is preparing to meet the Spaniards tomorrow, Sunday, within the framework of the second round of the group stage of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

“Saudi Arabia played a strong and special match against Uruguay and managed to earn a valuable point, and credit goes to Donis who was able to read the keys to the opponent’s game.”
“From my point of view, the Saudi Arabian team played their best match in the last 3 years, especially at the defensive level, and it goes against their usual attacking method, which is based on possession and attacking the opponent.”
Regarding the Spain game, Akram said. “Matador will enter the game in a completely different way than they did against Cape Verde in the first round. He will not be relaxed against Saudi Arabia and will work hard to win.”
He continued. “I hope the Saudi players will be very careful and focus on capturing the keys to Spain’s game, and they need to work on the balance between defense and attack.”
He concluded. “It’s true that Al-Akhdar got a good point in the first round, but the Saudi Arabian team needs to build on what they did by coming out with a positive point.”
