Al-Ahli defender scores two own goals to make World Cup comeback history

The Dallas Stadium media area witnessed a strange incident after the 2026 World Cup Egypt-Australia match.

Egypt qualified for the round of 16 of the tournament yesterday, Saturday evening, after a thrilling 4-2 win over the Asian team in the last 32 match, with a 1-1 draw.

One of the Egyptian journalists, who was present in the media field, asked a sarcastic question to the “Pharaohs” defender Rami Rabia, saying: “Will you be watching Mohamed Hani in the next game?”, indicating that the Al-Ahly full-back has become a threat to Egypt’s defence.

But Rabia did not like the teasing of her colleague in the national team, as her facial features changed and she looked surprised, then turned to another journalist.

The Egyptian national team is preparing to meet Argentina in the final of the World Cup next Tuesday evening.
