Riots in Paris after qualifying for the Champions League final
A young woman believed to be a Bayern Munich fan (she was wearing the German club’s shirt) was brutally attacked by Paris Saint-Germain fans as she drove her car down the French capital’s famous Champs-Élysées.
The incident came after Saint-Germain reached their second successive Champions League final last Wednesday, drawing (1-1) against Bayern Munich in Germany, winning the two legs (6-5) on aggregate.

Videos circulating showed the young woman trying to make her way through the hysterical crowds and throwing herself onto a car.
The young woman was harassed by youths who surrounded the car as it stopped, banging on the windows and taking pictures of her, before she was forced to get out of her car to remove the assailant, despite the girl’s attempts to remain relatively calm.
The attack left the car badly damaged, dented and dented, amid screams from the crowd demanding they take off their “dirty shirt” and leave immediately.
These events came despite Paris Saint-Germain’s plea to its fans to celebrate in a “spirit of unity and responsibility”. According to official statistics, as a result of the celebrations in the greater Paris area, 127 people were arrested, 11 were injured (including seriously), and 23 police officers were slightly injured.
