The South African team won its second title

South Africa’s Sun Downs won the African Champions League title for the second time in their history in the second leg of the final on Sunday, drawing their hosts Royal Moroccan Army with a goal apiece.

The Royals took the lead through Rabih Harimat in the 40th minute from the penalty spot, but Sun Downs equalized through Teboho Mokiana in the 45th minute + 7.

Sun Downs won the first match at home with a clear goal, deciding both matches with a score of 2/1.

Rabih Harimat missed a penalty kick for the Royals in the 77th minute, wasting a valuable chance to advance the match.

Sun Downs secured a place in the 2029 Club World Cup after winning the continental title.
