A journalist from Saudi Arabia raised a controversial situation that Portuguese Cristiano Ronaldo, the captain of Al-Nasri, is close to becoming the new owner of the club in the near future.

Media reports have confirmed that Ronaldo now owns a 15% stake in Al-Nasr Club. With terms signed when his contract with the team was extended in the summer of 2025.

However, Saudi journalist Ali Al-Enezi pointed to what is coming after he revealed the existence of a Saudi-European alliance to buy Al-Nasr Club in the coming period.

In the statements given to the “Durina Gear” program, al-Enezy said: “According to my information, there is a Saudi-European alliance to buy shares in Al-Nasr Club.”

Another journalist from Saudi Arabia, Hamad Al-Suwayhi, asked if “Don” is leading this alliance, to which Al-Enezi replied: “Ronaldo is not only involved with Al-Nasr as a player, but he treats it as a club that he loves and wants to stay as long as possible, whether as a player, owner or whatever.”

He concluded. “The coalition that wants to buy a victory is very large and includes investment funds, and the money is there.”
