The English star scored special numbers with a goal against “Atletico” Madrid

Arsenal star Bukayo Saka has written his name on the London side’s Champions League gold list after scoring a valuable goal against Atletico Madrid in the semi-final.

Saka opened the scoring for Jan Oblak in the 45th minute of the match between the two teams at the Emirates Stadium on Tuesday.

The England star followed the Slovenian keeper’s rebound after Leandro Trossard’s powerful shot.

According to statistics specialist Statsfoot, Saka is now Arsenal’s fourth-highest goalscorer in Champions League history with 13 goals.

Saka is tied with the pair of Cesc Fabregas and Freddie Ljungberg, while Thierry Henry leads the table with 35 goals, followed by Robin van Persie (18 goals) and Theo Walcott (15 goals).

Saka’s goals were 3 this season, 4 in the 2023-2024 season, and 6 in the 2024-2025 season.

Sakha’s first goal in this role came against Paris Saint-Germain in the second leg of the 2024–25 season, as the Gunners lost 1–2 and were eliminated from the tournament.

Saka also scored 44 goals for Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium in all competitions, level with Alexandre Lacazette.

The English star scored 14 goals in 14 matches at the Emirates Stadium in the Champions League, scoring 9 and converting 5.
