Kane sets new records after his brace against Croatia

The England captain’s achievements didn’t stop at the record-equalling feat, as Squaka Network reports that he is the first England player in history to score two or more goals in 3 different World Cup games.
Kane scored six goals in the 2018 campaign and two goals in the 2022 World Cup before opening the 2026 campaign with another brace, confirming his continued goalscoring streak at the highest level.

Kane’s second goal against Croatia came with a header, earning him a place on a very limited all-time list.
Kane became only the fourth England player to score a brace in World Cup history, according to Mr Shipp’s statistics, after Geoff Hurst in 1966, David Platt in 1990 and John Stones in 2018.
