Valuable tips for navigating the path of a young star
Barcelona and Spain star Lamine Yamal continues his meteoric rise to stardom, attracting the admiration of some of the biggest names in world football.
The latest celebrity to heap praise on Barcelona’s impressive star is Paul Pogba, who believes the Moroccan-born Spanish teenager already belongs among the world’s elite footballers.
It should be noted that the former player of the French national team established close relations with the dressing room of “Barcelona” thanks to his friendship with his teammate Ansu Fati in Monaco.
This relationship also brought him closer to one of the brightest young talents of the current generation, Yamal.
Although Pogba will miss this summer’s World Cup, the Monaco midfielder is working to rebuild his career after a difficult period that included a lengthy ban for doping.
Now back on the pitch, the 33-year-old remains one of the most prominent voices in world football and his comments about Yamal have quickly gained traction.
During an interview with the famous “El Chiringuito” program, Pogba explained his great appreciation for the “Barcelona” winger.
Speaking about Yamal’s development and current level, the French midfielder said: “Lamin is doing great, he is young and calm. That’s how it should be, he’s very young and he doesn’t want people to treat him like he’s 30 years old.”
👏 "LAMIN? Gotta live life".

The former World Cup winner then highlighted what he believes should remain the youngster’s main focus as his fame continues to grow, saying: “I would advise Lamine to just play football and nothing else.”
He continued. “He needs to surround himself with good people. His family and personal manager are important. Let them take care of his character and let him focus only on football.”
This accolade is all the more significant given Pogba’s personal experience at the highest levels of the game. Throughout his career, the Frenchman has dealt with huge expectations, media attention and global popularity.
Ultimately, perhaps the most remarkable part of Pogba’s interview was when he was asked how Yamal ranks among the best players in the world.
The midfielder of “Monaco” did not leave much room for discussion, because he said. “If Yamal is not the best in the world, then he is in the top three, if not the first, then he is the second or the third.”
