After the end of the game, Mohamed Alaa, the goalkeeper of the Egyptian national team, revealed the message that Mohamed Salah sent to the players after leaving the World Cup.
“Mohamed Salah went into the dressing room, gathered all the players and told them that what happened was bad luck and that we have to build on it in the future,” Alaa said.
It is noteworthy that the Egyptian team qualified for the quarterfinals of the World Cup for the first time in its history, having been eliminated from the World Cup in the first round of its previous three participations.
