Video: Mahrez revives Algeria’s hopes for a second time against Austria

Algerian star Riyad Mahrez has kept Sahara Warriors’ hopes of qualifying for the 2026 World Cup round of 32 alive.

Austrian striker Marko Arnautovic gave his country the lead in the 28th minute, but in the deadlock of the first half. Rafik Belghali managed to score the equalizer with a wonderful individual effort.

The goal came after Belgali burst into the box before rounding an Austrian defender before firing a shot into the net that goalkeeper Alexander Schlager was unable to stop.
