The Paris Saint-Germain star is making the event happen
Morocco captain Achraf Hakimi continued to impress with the Lions in the finals of the 2026 FIFA World Cup after scoring a decisive assist against Canada in the tournament’s eighth final on Saturday night.
Hakim managed to provide a crucial pass from which Azedin Ounahi scored the first goal in the confrontation with Canada in the 50th minute of the second half.

Interestingly, Hakimi also previously had an assist against Canada in the Lions’ 2-1 victory in the third round of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
It is Hakimi’s third career World Cup assist, having previously tallied one in 2022 before scoring against Haiti and against Canada in the current tournament.
