Ghanaian wonderkid Nana Kwaku Bonsam has courted controversy again after he targeted England star Harry Kane, the captain of the Three Lions, with new statements.
Bonsham insisted he will control Harry Kane during the 2026 World Cup Group 12 second round match against Ghana yesterday, Tuesday, to prevent him from scoring against the Black Stars.
The two teams played to a 0-0 draw, and Harry Kane had a valuable chance in the final minutes of the match, but hit the bar.
Bonsham announced after the game that he had decided to “release” Harry Kane from what he described as a “mental influence” he claimed he had placed on him before the two teams faced off.
Against Ghana, Kane was limited to just 19 touches throughout the match, his career-low in a major tournament with England, where he played the full 90 minutes.
After the game, Bonsam said in a televised statement reported by the website Ghana Football Network“I am the most powerful psychic in the world. Now I’ll miss Harry Kane so he can score in England’s next game.”
The social media pioneers shared a video he posted on his account where he claimed that it boosted the spiritual influence on the player.
Ghana’s national team, led by coach Carlos Queiroz, displayed excellent defending as Gideon Mensah, Jerome Opoku, Jonas Ajete and Marvin Sinaia managed to thwart England’s attacks and prevent Kane from scoring.
England are set to face Panama in the finals, while Ghana will face Croatia in a match that could decide both teams’ place in the Round of 32.
