Barcelona fans took to the streets to celebrate their second successive La Liga title under Hansi Flick, who… “Barcelona” beat “Real” yesterday with a score of 2-0.
Mundo Deportivo newspaper reports that with the Canalets fountain unavailable due to ongoing construction work on La Rambla, Barcelona fans gathered in Plaza Catalunya to celebrate the Spanish league.
Barcelona fans chanted slogans against their arch-rivals Real Madrid, including “Madrid… Hail to the hero”. They also held up traffic cones and chanted, “Stop, stop, stop, stop,” referring to the nickname given to Real Madrid coach Alvaro Arbeloa.
On this difficult and difficult day for Hansi Flick, who lost his father the night before, the Barcelona fans also remembered their coach, thanked him very much for his presence in the El Clasico and reminded that in those two years they won five of the six national titles.
After celebrating with the whole team on the Camp Nou pitch, Marc Casado, who surprised fans last year by celebrating the title at Canalitas, attended the ceremony at the Plaza Catalunya alongside Alejandro Balde. The two mingled with fans and everyone sang and celebrated.
Despite the jubilation, most Barcelona fans agreed that the team could have scored more goals to further damage Real’s chances.
