Real Madrid’s first friendly match under Portuguese coach Jose Mourinho today, Friday, witnessed a scene that went viral on social media.

During a match against Alcorcon, young Argentinian Franco Mastantuno appeared in a clip where he clearly couldn’t control a seemingly easy ball, and the video quickly went viral among football fans.

Despite this strange strike, the Spanish magazine AS noted that Mastantuno was one of the most popular players of Real Madrid in the match that ended with the victory of the Merengues (1-0).

The match was part of the Merengue’s preparations for the new season as Jose Mourinho tries to give a chance to a number of young players coming out of the La Fábrica academy, waiting to join the main elements after the summer break.

Mourinho replaced his former player, Alvaro Arbeloa, who failed to win a single title with the Merengues last season.
