Paris Saint-Germain moved their European battle against Arsenal back to nil in the Champions League final after they managed to level the score at 1-1 early in the second half of this Saturday night’s game at the Puskas Arena in Budapest.

Arsenal took the lead in the fifth minute with a surprise goal through Kai Havertz after a quick counter-attack which the German star finished off with a powerful header past Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Matvey Safonov.

In the 62nd minute, German referee Daniel Seibert awarded a penalty to Paris Saint-Germain after a foul by Mosquera, who caught Kvaratskhelia from behind, and the VAR technique confirmed its validity.

In the 64th minute, Ousmane Dembele stepped forward to take the shot and successfully placed the ball to the right of goalkeeper Raya, bringing the Parisians back to the atmosphere of the final.

 

According to Squawka Network, “Ousmane Dembele has scored 16 goals in the Champions League since the start of last season, while he has 10 goals in the continental league this season.

According to Mr Cheap Stats, Dembele also became the first ever Ballon d’Or player to score in a Champions League final since Cristiano Ronaldo did so against Juventus on 3 June 2017.
