The Croatian national team defeated its counterpart Ghana 2-1 at the end of the group stage of the 2026 FIFA World Cup on Saturday evening.
Croatia entered the match with offensive pressure, almost scored a goal from Nikola Vlasic’s shot, but in the 17th minute the ball hit the goal post.
In the 31st minute, Petar Sušić managed to open the score of the Croatian national team.
The Ghana team almost equalized after 9 minutes, but Antoine Semeneu’s shot went over the goal post.
In the 73rd minute, the Ghana team managed to equalize the score thanks to Derek Lucassen’s goal.
But the Croatian team regained the advantage in the 83rd minute through Nikola Vlasic.
