“Don” is the latest duck to join the football scene, after Mexican fans adopted “Merlin” the duck as their unofficial mascot, reports the agency. Reuters.

Duck Don is known as “Happy Duck” and rose to fame in 2024 when he attended a game for the University of Providence basketball team. However, he was soon banned from entering the stadium due to animal safety concerns.

But Dawn is still a frequent fixture at events around Providence and has more than 30,000 followers on Instagram.

In the first round of the group stage, Scotland beat Haiti (1-0) and Morocco drew with Brazil (1-1).
