Morocco and Brazil drew 1-1 in the first round of the 2026 World Cup group stage this Sunday morning.
Morocco were the better side for most of the match and had a wide range of dangerous chances but failed to convert them into goals.
Morocco entered the game with intense offensive pressing, as a result of which Ismail Sibari scored a wonderful goal in the 21st minute after a special pass by Brahim Diaz.
The Moroccan team almost quickly increased its advantage with Diaz’s shot, but the goalkeeper Alison Becker closed it firmly.
On the other hand, the Brazilian team quickly organized itself and in the 32nd minute Vinicius Junior equalized the score with a great shot from inside the penalty area.
