Lifting Algeria’s ban from the 2026 World Cup
The strong security fences that Algeria has set up around its camp in Lawrence, Kansas, have failed to protect the secrets of the Desert Warriors’ mission at the 2026 World Cup.
What the mission had hidden from the press and public was revealed by a drone belonging to a US television company when it flew over a training session and broadcast what was supposed to remain secret, leading to a new crisis that erupted days before the start of the World Cup.
