Venmo has begun testing a major overhaul of its app, and as part of the update, it will be implementing a new privacy policy: a sign-in feature for new users will set their posts to be seen by random friends instead of publicly.

The Venmo update is rolling out gradually, starting with a new feed feature that will be rolled out gradually on iOS and Android in the coming weeks.
