Valve’s new Steam Controller sold out quickly when it went on sale on Monday, and the company will open a “pre-order line” on Friday at 1PM ET for anyone who missed out the first time around.
When the Director first went to trademany consumers encountered difficulties in the investigation before the ruler it endedand some sellers on eBay posted lists of controllers that were very expensive higher than Valve’s $99 asking price. “While we were delighted to see such a high level of interest, the experience of many of you trying to purchase was very disappointing,” The valve says. It’s making changes to “streamline purchases and reduce vendor experience.”
Once the reservation queue is open, “As soon as you reserve, your place in the queue will be saved,” according to Valve. “When we return to the store, the order emails will be sent in the same order as the order was placed.” Once your email arrives, you will have 72 hours to complete your purchase, and you can only purchase one controller. To reserve, your account must be in good standing and you must have purchased something on Steam before April 27. And “in the meantime,” if you’ve already purchased a Steam Controller, you can’t reserve another one. The company says it will begin fulfilling reservations “next week” in the US and Canada, and “the following weeks” in the UK, EU, and Australia.
