The US military says it is humiliating the Iranian military but is accused by Tehran of targeting civilian weapons.

The United States military has launched its seventh consecutive night strike Iranas a military adviser to Iran’s supreme leader is warning of a major attack if the US attack continues.
In a statement on X Friday, the US Central Command (CENTCOM) said the protests began at 19:00 GMT (10:30pm in Iran) and were “designed to continue to humiliate the Iranian military under the command of the Commander in Chief”.

Five explosions were heard early Saturday in Yazd, in central Iran, state news agency IRNA reported. Iranian state television also said three explosions were heard south of the city of Sirik, while another news agency, Mehr, said explosions were heard “in several areas in the south”.
As the war escalates, fears are growing that the conflict could be derailed.
Tehran accuses Washington of targeting civilian infrastructure and carrying out military attacks. Videos and photos published by Iranian media show severely damaged bridges and railways in the south of the country.
Iran has warned that it will respond in kind by striking civil engineering across the Gulf region, putting humanitarian aid at risk.
Iran has retaliated against the strikes by targeting what it says are US-linked assets in the region region.
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said it had hit an unmanned US vehicle depot in Bahrain late Friday. Washington has not confirmed the plot.
Earlier on Friday, Major-General Mohsen Rezaei, an adviser to Iran’s supreme leader, warned that Tehran would pass the stage of war and enter the stage of “destruction and destruction” if the US attack does not stop.
Tehran is ready to resume “dirty operations” if the strikes last two or three days, he said, according to Iran’s IRIB news agency.
“Iran will not give itself any more revenge, answer like … and no political border will be safe,” added Rezaei.
Rezaei said Washington’s strategy of “war and dialogue” has reached its peak and that the level of Iranian aggression will increase in the coming days.
The attack on the US on the night of Thursday to Friday killed eight people in Iran, the country said. The IRGC then launched attacks on US military bases in Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Jordan and Syria.
On Friday, Kuwait’s Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy announced that Iran had struck a power and water plant, destroying many power units and igniting fires that have been extinguished.
Because of this, citizens and residents of the area have been encouraged to provide electricity.
Gulf countries rely heavily on desalination plants, which produce 40 percent of the world’s desalinated water. An attack on such a site can cause economic and financial problems in a matter of days.
