Real Madrid had a disastrous season

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has confirmed that he will not resign from his position, despite the heavy criticism directed against him after the disastrous end of the season.

Real Madrid remained without titles, marking the second zero season in a row.

The season witnessed many crises on and off the field and the situation escalated to the point where the players clashed during training sessions.

Peres said during a meeting with journalists today. “Thank you all very much for your presence. I regret to inform you that I will not resign, but will call for elections.”

He added: “I have asked the Electoral Commission to start the process of holding board elections, for which we, this board of directors, will nominate.

He continued. “A ridiculous situation has arisen against Real Madrid and me. We don’t always win, but we don’t accept that. They are taking advantage of this situation to attack me.”

He continued. “Where is Florentino?” I will not speak publicly. Some people say that I am sick, that I have cancer in the last stage. I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who cares about me. I am still the president of the club and my company, which has an annual turnover of 50 billion.”

He added: “My health is excellent, if they told me that I have cancer, I would have to go to a specialized cancer treatment center. They would travel around the world. It is not true and this news has only increased its spread.’
