Urgent meeting to discuss Lewandowski’s future

“Barcelona” held an urgent meeting today, Monday, to discuss the future of the Poles Robert LewandowskiStriker of the team.

Leiva’s contract with Barca expires next June, and he can sign a free contract with any club from now on.

As reported by the Spanish magazine “Sport”, Barcelona’s sporting director Deco had a meeting with the famous player’s agent Pini Zahavi on Monday morning to discuss Lewandowski’s future.

He noted that Lewandowski’s future was the main issue at the meeting, which reached an agreement with coach Hans Flick to extend his contract until the summer of 2028.

He explained that Leyva is still seriously considering his next move and has not yet made a final decision as he evaluates all options available to him in the face of obvious doubts.

Backstage at El Clasio yesterday, Sunday, a group of fans stopped the Polish striker as he was leaving the Spotify Camp Nou stadium to ask him about his future with the team. His response was curt, “I don’t think so,” with a negative shake of the head reflecting the player’s state of hesitation.

“Sport” Barcelona reports that the Catalan club has not yet presented Lewandowski’s representatives with any written offer or concrete numbers for an extension, which complicates the decision-making process for the Polish forward, especially in the presence of other well-defined offers, as the player received very strong and specific economic offers from the Saudi League and the American League.
